I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime (theft from or theft of), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Over recent weeks have seen an increase in the level of motorcycles thefts and attempted thefts all over the East of York. The most recent of these was on the 22nd October at a property on Thief Lane. If you own a motorcycle please extra vigilant and make sure you motorcycle is secured and kept out of sight if possible. The incoming dark nights really do offer more cover for thieves, especially if motorcycles are left unsecured.
